In view of the future growth potential, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) had organized first ever Indo-Bangla Automotive Show 2017. The Show had seen participation from many Indian Automobile manufacturers like Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (Bangladesh Honda), Hero MotoCorp, India Yamaha Motor (ACI Motors), Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki India, SML Isuzu, Tata Motors, TVS Motor Company, VE Commercial Vehicles along with their Bangladeshi partners. A few component manufacturers and few Bangladeshi companies had also participated in the show.
Encouraged by the success of the first Show SIAM will organize 2nd “Indo - Bangla Automotive Show 2019” jointly with Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), with support from High Commissioner of India in Dhaka and in cooperation with Bangladesh Automobile Assemblers & Manufacturers Association (BAAMA), Bangladesh Motorcycle Assemblers & Manufacturers Association (BMAMA) from 28 February 2019 - 03 March 2019 at International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Leading Indian Automobile Manufacturers like last edition are expected to participate in this show. Two Wheelers, Three Wheelers, Cars, Vans & MUVs / SUVs, Commercial Vehicles (Trucks & Buses), Special Vehicles, Vehicle Engines, Tractors, Components, Accessories, Tyres and tubes, Oil & lubricants etc. will be showcased in this exhibition.
Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is the apex Industry body representing leading vehicle and vehicular engine manufacturers in India.
SIAM is an important channel of communication for the Automobile Industry with the Government, National and International organisations. The Society works closely with all the concerned stake holders and actively participates in formulation of rules, regulations and policies related to the Automobile Industry.

Dissemination of information is an integral part of SIAM'S activities, which it does through various publications, reports, seminars and conferences.
SIAM provides a window to the Indian Automobile industry and aims to enhance exchanges and communication expand economics, trade and technical cooperation between the Automotive Industry and its international counterparts.
SIAM organizes the biennial Auto Expo series - The Motor Show of trade fairs in co-operation with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA).

The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) is the apex body representing the interest of the Indian Auto Component Industry. Its membership of over 800 manufacturers contributes more than 90% of the auto component industry’s turnover in the organised sector. ACMA is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Association.
The Indian auto-component industry registered a turnover of Rs. 2,92,184 crore (USD 43.55 billion) growing by 14.3 per cent, and exports grew by 3.1 per cent to Rs.73,128 crore (USD 10.90 billion) in 2016-17, registering a CAGR of 11 percent over a period of six year. ACMA has played a pivotal role in supporting its members in export development and in discovering new market opportunities, currently the industry exports to more than 160 countries.
ACMA’s charter is to develop a globally competitive Indian Auto Component Industry and strengthen its role in national economic development as also promote business through international alliances.
