| “Restructuring
- Build A Viable Industry Model: Challenges Facing The Commercial
Vehicle Industry”
With Commercial Vehicle production declining globally, the question
arises that for how long would the current downturn continue.
What would assist the turn around? What new markets would develop
and what products would they need? Would infrastructure development
facilitate in changing the dynamics of the market? How do we convert
customer voices into products and services? Does the industry
need to restructure? Is the current model and industry structure
sustainable? What needs to change and where India could take leadership?
A model that would leverage the networks in India to create scale
and spread cost may be required.
